Description
The 684O30C15C-30420T2 is a Sanitary shell and tube, O-ring head design, two-pass heat exchanger built for steam-to-water duty. The unit has a 6" diameter x 84" long shell with an all 304 stainless steel tube side and 2" tri-clamp process connections; on the shell side the steam inlet is 1.5" and the condensate outlet is 1.5". Heat transfer surface is 40 sq ft. The unit handles a range of temperatures and flow rates; under standard conditions with 50 PSI steam, a water flow of 60 GPM gives a temperature rise of about 83°F per pass. The matching spare tube bundle is 353630-RE.
