Description
The 854O40F15C-31630T2-3A is a 3-A Sanitary shell and tube, O-ring head design, two-pass heat exchanger built for steam-to-water duty. The unit has a 8" diameter x 54" long shell with an all 316 stainless steel tube side and 3" tri-clamp process connections; on the shell side the steam inlet is 4" and the condensate outlet is 1.5". Heat transfer surface is 41 sq ft. The unit handles a range of temperatures and flow rates; under standard conditions with 50 PSI steam, a water flow of 120 GPM gives a temperature rise of about 45°F per pass.
